Born on 2nd March 1984 on the beautiful coastal city -Mangalore, I spent most of my early days at my hometown- Kadandhale. Later
I was brought up in Bangalore and
has been my home for past 23yrs. I did my early schooling at St.Thomas School, Kumara Park, Bangalore.
Later at Bethesda High School and finally completing my 10th grade at
Seshadripuram Boys High School. My PUC (+2)from Seshadripuram
Pre-Univ Composite College, Bangalore.
Joined Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology,Bangalore in year
2002 for BE degree in Mechanical Engineering. Worked for SAINT
GOBAIN group of companies (GRINDWELL NORTON), Bangalore as a Graduate
Engineer Trainee for a brief time. Same year left to United
States to pursue my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at Tuskegee
University, Alabama.
Chikpet, in the heart of Bangalore city was my first
home, where I stayed with my parents after we moved from Mangalore. From childhood I was give the freedom of being what I am and
doing what I want. I thank my parents for their confidence in me. I
grew
up in a typical Indian middle class family with values of life taught
to me every day. Dad is more outgoing, free and liberal in approach
where as mom is orthodox and religious. This kind of gave the good of
both the worlds. I am fortunate enough to have good friends, cousins
when I was a growing kid. I
enjoyed every bit of my childhood, school days, small fights or
vacations with cousins and family
during summer at Mangalore. I spent most
of my childhood and youth in the neighborhood of Sheshadripuram and this was here I
met the most wonderful lady and her family. People called her Lakshmakka or
Nageshamma, I just calle her 'Atthe' (Aunt). It was she who taught me to be kind, humble, to respect
people and money was and is always secondary. I spent some of my most
wonderful days with her and her family which consisted of Mama(Uncle),
Vaniakka, Ravi anna and Nagesh anna. As a person I am emotional
and dreamer, end of the day I am Piscean! I tend to know things around me well
before I jump in to action. When I am there to do work, I am there till end of
it.
I enjoy playing cricket rather watching it!! My interest in sports has been relatively more or less to cricket, shuttle badminton and swimming. A pet person and love dogs, cow, cats and what all can be a pet! I can be your partner to share the popcorn if you are watching movie or shows based on documentaries, biography, war, drama, action and comedy. I keep away from Soaps, reality shows and movies which beat around bush!! I enjoy watching short movies and shows related to food, travel, science, wildlife and history. Photography, music, machines, wildlife, history, politics and cooking has always been my cup of tea.
I learn't the art of photography from my dad who is a vivid
photographer. I started with my dad's old Pentax manual camera, a 35mm lens and
his experience with light. I remember those days as a kid, when I used to run around with
a flash in my hand thinking I was taking pictures!! Back then I won a photo
competition organized my Times of India group and got myself a Kodak KB10. My
desire to play with light using a digital SLR has still been a dream. I am sure
over the days ahead I will have one to play around and capture the world as seen by
me. Desire to skydive, scuba dive the blue waters, climb the snow fed
Himalayas, trek through the thick jungles of Amazon or a night in an
African safari- A dream I am working on.
This is in short ME!
